In the case of ordinary cotton yarn, the fluff present in the yarn creates an air layer that retains heat, but Spoerry Ice Cotton, a super high-twist yarn, eliminates the air layer by suppressing the fluff to the limit, thus providing a contact cooling sensation.
Normal cotton yarn: The loosened cotton fibers are covered with air around them, which provides warmth retention.
ICE COTTON: Tightly twisted super high-twist yarn is thin and cohesive, giving it a crisp texture, making it ideal for the sweaty season. Heat is not trapped.
